
Cristina Jane Baron was born in Orlando, Florida to Kneil C. and Marsha Welch Baron on September 12, 1987. .jpg)
High School brought new found talents for Cristina as well as shar
pening of old ones. She played Varsity softball, joined the choir and marching band, and was cast in two more shows ("How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying" and "Urinetown") She also served in many leadership capacities including Choir President, Section Leader, and Treasurer of the National Honor Society.

Cristina holds at highest priority her faith, family, and friends. She has 3 brothers and 4 sisters, of which three are married, as well as one niece and one nephew.
Cristina is most happy to have established a new branch of her family with Ian on December 15th, 2007 in the San Diego LDS temple.

In Cristina's elementary years she participated in a variety of afterschool avtivities including Girl Scouts, Choir, instrumental ensambles, Little League Softball, and was cast in "The Music Man." At age 8, Cristina was baptized a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints by her Father and still cherishes the memory of that day.
Through middle school, Cristina continued performing by learning to play the bassoon. She also continued to play softball in the local little league as a catcher.

While in High School, Cristina also earned many awards including, but not limited to, the Young Women in Ex
cellence Award, and Honors diploma, and Honor Roll. She auditioned and was able to participate in the Florida All-State choir for 2 years.
Cristina spent her free time with her friends and family, as well as at work. She was employed for 2 years at Universal Orlando and also worked at Matthew's Diamonds. After graduation, Cristina worked for a couple months at American Eagle to save money for school.
Currently, Cristina is attending Brigham Young University-Idaho. Her major is Communications with an emphasis in Broadcasting. She is recieving full-tuition academic scholarship and will be a Junior at the conclusion of the Fall 2007 semester.
Cristina is presently employed at the campus radio stations, KBYI and KBYR. She programs the daily music for KBYR, writes and voices news for both stations, as well as any other challenges the Station Manager has for her.

Cristina serves in her University Student Ward as a Relief Society President and finds the challenge to be very difficult but rewarding.
